The Haygoods

If you like fast paced, high energy shows, you definitely have to see The Haygoods at the RFD-TV Theater. To be honest, I have been a huge fan of this family ever since I saw them 19 years ago at Silver Dollar City. Back then, they only played fiddles and sang but that isn't the way it is today. They take a variety of instruments and put their own unique spin on well known songs and some of their own original songs ...and it's amazing. As an example, they play The Beatles' ELEANOR RIGBY and Michael Jackson's SMOOTH CRIMINAL - on fiddles! You have to hear them to
understand how amazing they sound. Besides being phenomenal musicians they have great harmony. Michael and Dominic usually do lead vocals, but Catherine (the only sister) sure knows how to hold her own with the guys.

They play a variety of music so there is something for everyone. Which is good since their fans range in age from 2-92. You will hear the older fans screaming and yelling just as much as the younger ones! It's pretty interesting!! In fact, because of their wide fan base, they put on three different shows a year:

1. Spring and Fall

2. Summer

3. Christmas (November and December)

Even though I attend their show quite frequently, there is always something different going on... new songs, new adlibs, different costumes, pyrotechnics, lasers, mountain dancing, Banjo Man's crazy antics.

It's always fresh and entertaining and never boring! I suggest you see them soon!! You will see for yourself why they got Entertainers of the Year. They are truly an amazing family who has worked hard to make their dream come true.
